Every claim in the findings is a statement about geography, so here is the geography
itself. The map holds all 263 TLC taxi zones. Pick a metric and the zones recolor;
drag the year slider from 2015 to 2024 and watch the network change; hover any zone for
its name, borough, and the value being shown. The data is the same yellow-taxi network
the rest of the site is built from, with its same honest limit: yellow cabs over-sample
Manhattan and the airports, so the outer boroughs are thin by construction, not by
accident.
